3rd International MRD Symposium in Kiel
The 3rd International Symposium on Measurable Residual Disease (MRD) in Hematological Malignancies will take place on 25–27 September 2025 in Kiel, Germany, organized by EuroMRD chair andESLHO board member Monika Brüggemann together with Christiane Pott.
The Symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of MRD detection methodsand their standardization, with a particular focus on clinical applications in various hematological malignanciesin both pediatric and adult patients.A central objective of the meeting will be to achieve a consensus on key MRD-related topics, aimed to be published as a joint statement.

- MRD in AML: technical aspects and clinical implication
- MRD - State of the art in myeloma
- MRD assessment in ALL - technical aspects
- How to measure, report and interpret MRD in ALL
- Liquid biopsies for MRD assessment in mature lymphoid malignancies – techniques
- Liquid biopsies for MRD assessment in mature lymphoid malignancies - clinical impact
- MRD assessment in times of increasing regulation: Significance of the IVDR for patient care and clinical studies
- MRD - State of the art in CLL

Many EuroMRD and EuroClonality members will contribute with lectures, including Jan Trka, Ramon García Sanz, Heike Pfeiffer, Emmanuelle Clappier, Gianni Cazzaniga, Vincent van der Velden, Michaela Kotrova, Mouhamad Khouja, Simone Ferrero, Bart Lubbers and Ton Langerak.
ESLHO will be present with a table top display, providing participants with information about the three international consortia: EuroMRD, EuroClonality, and EuroFlow.
