The EHA2025 Congress has officially begun, and we are happy to be part of it!

For many years, EuroClonality has supported laboratories around the world with expert advice for difficult clonality testing cases, based on the EuroClonality/BIOMED-2 assays (GeneScan fragment analysis). This has helped professionals tackle technical challenges and interpret complex results, all in the spirit of EuroClonality aims: collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Last week, on April 3rd and 4th, 2025, the EuroClonality-NGS Working Group came together in Prague for a meeting. Participants shared updates on their latest research, and in-person attendees had the opportunity to have in-depth discussions and brainstorming sessions. The collaboration between the different institutes continues to be of great value, and significant progress was made towards the continuation of several research initiatives.

With great thanks to Radboud UMC, the EuroClonality Educational Workshop 2025, titled “Clonality Assessment in Pathology”, was once again a great success!

For ESLHO, education is a crucial aspect of external quality assessment (EQA) schemes, as it is the basis for continuous improvement of diagnostic testing. All schemes that we run in our networks have an annual educational meeting in which the EQA results are presented to and discussed with participants. This is clearly valued: from 57 labs that joined the EuroClonality IG/TR Clonality EQA scheme 2024, more than 100 persons joined the virtual sessions that we organized in the past 2 weeks.
